Engaging With Transparency

Let's talk engagement. Many businesses or even influencers try to run their own social media on various platforms while missing many key elements, one of them being engagement. Social media engagement by far is more important than the number of followers a page has. Think of it as quality over quantity. You should rather want a page with 300,000 followers with all of them engaging with you over having 1.5 million followers and only 50,000 of them engaging with your page and product.



Let's say you have a page for a business with over a million followers and you plan to gain consumers through your social media platforms. Having millions of followers does not mean your business is automatically booming. Aside from having a product consumers want, you need to be engaging on all platforms. Too many times we see pages lose followers and consumers all because they do not engage with their followers. When a follower asks a question, let’s say on Instagram, you should do your best to reply and show that as a business you are listening and paying attention to your followers and that you want to build a relationship with them . This will in time draw more attention to your page. While you are at it, you should engage with other posts that share your goals and values. Eventually you will begin to generate business inquiries and a lot more.
